(m) Poshtova Ploshcha, Borychiv Tik str. The most «elite» among Kievan MacDonadses. I was an often visitor there for aLL the time working for Celenia. Some time has passed since that, but there are still familiar faces there.

(m) Pozniaky Situated right under the MacDonald's Ukraine HQ. Somewhat overcrowded because of the nearby appartment blocks and their hungry inhabitants.

@Povitroflotsy avenue, near the «Bermuda triangle» One of the oldest Kievan MacDonalds'es. I have never been inside. In a high school years i was too poor, now i'm too snobbish.

Draizera str., Troyeshchyna The only Mac located in a genuine soviet-style block. Pretend tohave a «Beatles» flavour, at least there are vynil disks hanging at the ceiling. The good news is that this locale is almost always has some place for such a mizanthrope like me.

(m) Kharkivs'ka Permanent denial of service, plus an antiamerican audio repertoir. An ideal space for tough muscovites?

@Sebastopol sq. A little known kievan end..

@Bohdana Khmelnytskoho X Ivana Franka str. str. «Viener style» Mac. Appeared sometime in 2003. Good place to sitoutdoor on a week-end day. Overcrowded other time. Opened till 23:00.

@Moscow sq. near bus terminal Somewhat inconvinient location. Welcome after 22:00.

@Vineyard («Vynohradar») Hardly accessible for my self.

(m) Pecherska I often experience «Denial of Service» there. Remarkable featureis that almost always one can hear there someone speaking in Ukrainian-i suspect there is a sort of L'viv getto somewhere nearby.

(m) Livoberezhna Big hall. Almost always one can get a free table there.

(m) Vokzal'na Despite the overcrowded neighbourhood, one can find a free tablein the evening.

(m) Petrivka Somewhat busy place, but it isn't impossible to find a place even at the lunch time.

(m) Lukyanivska The first Mac in Kyiv. Has a big hall but is almost always overcrowded. Another problem is that it is far from city attractions-purely industrial region.

@Independence Sq. Nice nice place, unfortunatelly too small and overcrowded. Features wallpapers of the Vienner artist Gustav Klimt, contermporary to the famous composer Gustav Mahler.

(m) Durnytsia The most recent MacDonald's in Kiev (2005). Quite big. I've already noticed some familiar faces from «Poshtova». There are telebims installed so expect advertisment attack!

(m) Mins'ka Very small Mac in relation to the public demand. The staff is friendly though.

_Independence sq., «TRK Zhloboos» Mac colocated with dozens of the same fast breed.

«Zodiak», just behind Rotunda City-centric fastfood with rock-n-roll flavor interior . If i were you, this is where i'd appoint a date (given you were me).

Makro, Jerusalem avenue Familiar post-insdustrial desert landscape. Nearby malls provideclients as well as title (Makro). I have some intimate reasong to love this place.

Seminar: Introduction to BSCS

Another semi-improvised venue to introduce newcomers to BSCS iX Release 2 system scheduled on February 7--8, room 112, Kvazar-Micro Education Centre (that's a 3rd to the last stop of 5 trolleybus).

What's BSCS, you might ask ? This is a computer program, that helps UMC (and some hundred other such businesses aLL over the Globe) to bill subscribers for their cellular phone usage.

Nothing prevents for an occassional stranger (what about you?) to come and join. Though, I'll be greatly surprised if anybody else, but new folks from KM-Soft will participate.

Another trainer, now of English descend. Now yours truly can at least to have a pleasure to hear a true Anglo-Saxon pronunciation.

All evening spent in a company of colleagues at Sachsenhausen. Apfelwein appeared to be a sort of white light liquid, which is mixed either with carbon water OR fanta by aborigines. I've tried both ways. Also i've tried some Hessian traditional food, which name I've already forgotten. As well, I've forgotten the name of the tavern, but is still can be recovered from a box of matches I've got there as a present.
